The Scoobies

The Scoobies
Yes, dreaming of Eric Northman. Who doesn’t??
I totally confess that this is a completely gratuitous post, but who can blame me… really? If you’ve watched True Blood on HBO or read the Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris, you know what I’m talking about! AAAAAAAAAAhhhhh!! Can’t stop dreaming of Eric!

Eric Northman
Season 3, you can’t come soon enough!!
The teaser posters leading up to the third season of True Blood are definitely what they claim to be – TEASERS! Vamp Stamp. I think I have one of those… AAAAAH! Can’t wait!!

True Blood: Season 3
My favorite is still the VILF poster – see it here: http://www.loveofvampires.com/2010/true-blood-promos/ – but this new one is up there!
June can’t come soon enough. Warm nights, True Blood and hot blood!
Holy freakin CRAP! Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 6 was the best Buffy season yet! The writers got so creative with this season. They really played with different genres of film and filming styles.
And besides, who can resist a spectacular vampire musical??!

Buffy sings.
***warning! may contain spoilers if you haven’t seen it yet!***
Finally! A documentary series is being made on real vampires and the lives they lead today – sounds intriguing! Check it out on Gabrielle Faust’s site: http://www.gabriellefaust.com/archives/4487#comments
I definitely wanna do bad things after seeing the new poster out for True Blood: Season 3!
DAYAM!

True Blood: Season 3
They really are killing me with these teasers! I love them.
All Together Dead is the 7th book in Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse series. And my favorite in the series so far.
Now, this probably has something to do with the fact that this has been the one book since the first book, Dead Until Dark, that has almost it’s entire focus on vampires.
Sookie accompanies the Queen of Louisiana to the US Vampire Summit on the shores of Lake Michigan so she can use her powers of telepathy to help keep the queen safe. The Queen has been accused of killing her vampire husband and must stand trial at the summit. And of course the summit is attended by most of the high ranking vampires in the US.
This book is stock full of danger, not only because Sookie is surrounded by vampires, but the vampires themselves seem to be in danger by the fanatical group, The Fellowship of the Sun. Sookie has some juicy encounters with her ex-boyfriend, Bill (le sigh, Sookie you’re crazy!) and Eric (le double sigh!!!) all the while learning more about Quinn, the weretiger she has been involved with. I love the story that has developed and is still growing between Sookie and Eric. Nuff said!

Vampire Eric Northman
The mystery in this book is good, the story has good pace from the very beginning, and when the end of the book starts approaching I felt on edge and breathing harder! And it wasn’t just from Eric! (or was it…?)
I really don’t know what I’m going to do when I finish reading this series. Cry? (ha!) No, I’ll probably read it again and watch True Blood over and over. Or get addicted to yet another great vampire series! But this one, The Sookie Stackhouse Series, is my favorite at the moment.
VVVVv (4 1/2 fangs for All Together Dead)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 5
Now, Season 4 was good. Season 5…. better. This season had me hooked from the very first episode, which features a showdown between Buffy and the most famous vampire of all (NO! not Edward!) …DRACULA.

Buffy's Dracula
I got all giddy and excited for this new season.
Buffy vs. Edward. My latest obsession.
Most mash ups are really lame, but this one (must admit) had me giggling! Poor Edward, he’s just misunderstood!
And then Buffy Staked Edward…

Buffy vs. Edward
I know I’ve been watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer back to back for the first time and am a teensy weensy bit obsessed… but LOOK! This is hoody is hilarious! Go Buffy!
